OsteoBiol® Lamina® is a group of devices based on cortical bone of heterologous origin(1) , produced using an exclusive Tecnoss® process that avoids ceramization of hydroxyapatite crystals, thus enabling gradual physiological resorption(2) . After hydration, the Soft(3) type acquires a moderately elastic, flexible consistency that varies according to product thickness, with soft edges and the compactness typical of original cortical tissue. The semi-rigid type retains the rigidity typical of cortical bone even after hydration.
